Any tips/tricks for using a touchpad?

On my toshiba using ALPS touchpad software it allows you to use back and forward by going across the top of the pad (just like side ways scrolling except at the top instead of the bottom) or you could just use the back space key to go back in most cases

Check out this 19" beauty!!

I think practically got firedd before the designing of this "notebook" As i read in one of the reviews its just a portable desktop with a UPS, lol. How ever saying that it would be cool to have to take to LANs, much easier than carrying a regular computer

What in your opinion is the IDEAL monitor size for a notebook computer?

Im gonna say 12 inch. I just got one and i love it, its smaller than my course books at uni and almost as light, it i had a bigger laptop it probobaly wouldnt use it as much due to increased size. Of course 15s and 17s are nice for desktop replacements but then those are just desktops with...

Cant use SD card slot

Hi I have recently purchased a second hand toshiba portege 2010 and it has a SD card reader but i cannot access it. Windows has its drivers installed, it is turned on in the bios. If anyone could tell me how to access it it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Networking problem, please help

The problem isnt bridging the conenctions, which i cant do anyway because the ADSL comes up as a dial up connection. I was trying to connect to the computer using its IP (they are al static IPs) I think i may just try reformatting this computer, lol. I also think i will just buy a cisco router...

Is it true that small HD's (<100) are more reliable than 200+ ?

Well really the main thing is going to be the quality of manufacturing/parts used. But in theory higher density means its more likely to fail/get damaged/corrupt but most drives should be reliable enough to not worry about that, well you'd hope.

I did something to my Zen Xtra...

I know you can go into the setup menu in them by pushing the reset button and I think the other button is play. It may offer you some option that will allow you to fix it.

Ok old headphones are blown, need new

I'd have to say there is no substitution to testing them for your self before you buy, different people prefer slightly different sounds ion the head phones. Read the reviews and pick out a few then see if you can listen side by side.
