Relax, deep breaths...now go ahead and grab your motherboard's manual. Look through the BIOS sections for fan control or PC health information. There is more than likely a temperature or otherwise controlled fan system which is enabled by default. Try disabling it and seeing if your fan spins...

I get the feeling some people think there's some kind of weird voodoo magic governing what PSU will work best. There really isn't. If someone knows the power draw of a particular CPU at it's intended frequency they don't have to own it to know what kind of power supply will be sufficient. And...

Of course they will creep up, but things won't be anywhere near as bad as some suggest. Trust me, if Intel was pricing themselves out of the mainstream someone will swoop in and take advantage.
