mouse sample rate in Solaris 9?

The mouse sample rate, you know. The rate at which the mouse is sampled? I noticed because it's horrendous. Moving the mouse at a moderate speed, the cursor chugs over an inch at a time. It's not the CPU being pegged or anything, nothing is running. (see above :P)

mouse sample rate in Solaris 9?

Well my school saw fit to install Solaris 9 on these Ultra 10 machines. :P The mouse sample rate has got to be well below 60hz, maybe 20 or 30? Anyone know how to change that? Can it be changed?
