somebody who understands DHTML wanna help me?

Make the content of the window a webpage, not an image. That way you can embed some javascript resizing code in it to fit the window to the image - with appropriate CSS there shouldn't a border around the image.

So, how's the HSF that comes with Athlon64?

It seems a pretty serious unit to me. The fan is only 70mm but the heatsink is a proper copper-based thin-fin monster. Incidentally, I'm amazed that I can stop posting for three years and my account still works!

Zalman CNPS7000A on Asus K8V Deluxe...

I wouldn't try to remove the ASUS Backplate, it's glued in pretty solidly - I just built a system using the K8V and the CNPS7000A and I used RX8Owner's system. Remove the frame around the Socket, saving the two long screws that come with it. Apply heatsink goop to the top of the chip as usual...

* HELP: going from analog to DVI..

You probably have to press a button on the LCD to switch to the DVI input ... have a look through the on-screen display settings.

Why cant a pc read xbox media?

SCSI controller-HD questions

1.) Yes. Use a boot disk with only the IDE drive installed, run f-disk and set the primary partion to non-active. However, if you have the BIOS set up to boot from SCSI first, this won't make a difference, it will just boot from the SCSI drive regardless of what IDE stuff you have installed...

How to share cable modem access?

Budmans got it right there. You can either buy a cable modem router or NAT box (A device that allows muliple computers on a network use one net connection and account by translating IP addressess - Netgear do good ones.), connect via a Win98/ME/2K box using MS's Internet Connection Sharing...

Samsung 900 NF Anyone not like this Monitor??

Best Laptop / Notebook?

I like the look of the new IBM ThinkPad T21, mainly because it's pretty light and looks cool, but mainly it has the S3 Savage IV+ Video Chipset, probably the least-sucky mobile video chipset available - until we see the new Nvidia Geforce2 Mobile (Based on the MX), that is.
