Abit IP35-E Review (500MHz FSB board)...$90 @ NewEgg + $6.61 ship

I only have 2 IDE devices (7200.10 PATA and NEC3540 DVDRW, don't want to invest more to SATA) with IP35-E my XP sP2 system is just running fine the thing is you need to scroll all the way down to the end of the list of boot devices, to find your drives

Best native resolution for gaming on 8800GT?

I used to have 8800GTS/320M on 19" 1280x1024. I stepup (evga) to 8800GT/512M because I bought a 24" 1920x1200. Seems to be very good. I got a little higher FPS in "World in Conflicts" under this higher resolution and same quality settings.

it is really good to have a case like Antec Nine-Hundred for IP35-E with a big fan on top; so that you can blow hot air directly into that area without taking off the side panel :D

Soyo 24' vs Samsung 24'

Samsung model 245BW uses TN panel. But Samsung should have less QC problem as Soyo. Someone even said his Soyo caught in fire, which is kind of scary. I think the best way is to take a look. If you do not find visual difference, go with Samsung. Otherwise, go with Soyo, at your own risk :P

3850 and 3870

yeah, saw that too and I posted 2 set of numbers in This thread (look at the bottom) not very promising. DX10 is somewhat faster but AA still sux (worse actually than R600) 8800GT for me now
