ya I have an athlon X2, I know that's gonna limit my games. But if I upgrade the video now, I can get the cpu when I get a bit more money in the summer. Thanks, both of those look like what I want. Thanks for the help.

Not getting any power

Correct I am not overclocking anything. I have completely disconnected everything and put them back in and nothing has seemed to help so far. I guess I can try that again.

Not getting any power

So my computer has been working fine for the last 2 years, but the other night when I went upstairs the monitor wasn't getting any signal. I turned it off and tried fixing the monitor cable and then replacing it, but this didn't help. So I turned it off again and figured I'd just work on it in...

Games crashing

so if I got these and a CPU around the same caliber as the video card, what would be the top end of things I would be able to run? I would love to be able to do mass effect, but I figured I was pretty far off of that, but if I upgraded all of these, (video card, psu, cpu, ram) would I be able...

Games crashing

I unplugged my cd roms and at least Team Fortress 2 is working, so I think it was the power supply. I still may upgrade the video card though, so if anyone has a suggestion for that i'd appreciate it. thanks for all the help oh and I have the latest drivers, thats one of the only things...

Games crashing

I hadn't thought of that. I have a Rhino ATX12V RX400Y 400W I don't know if any of that matters other than the 400W but I figure it won't hurt. I couldn't find it on newegg, but I used their calculator and it said I would need about 377W. It seems like that could be a bit too close...

Games crashing

My computer runs fine for the most part, but when I play Team Fortress 2 or Warhammer online I have been having trouble with them randomly crashing. Sometimes just the game crashes, sometimes the computers locks up, and sometimes it goes to desktop but with all the video settings and colors...

Can't connect to internet

I did ipconfig /all on the good computer here, and it has everything filled in, but it says something about 'IP Routing Enabled...No.' Doing the ipconfig on the one that doesn't work comes up with a whole lot of wierd things like ffe$ type stuff, big long strings of that where IP address should...

but...the cpu isnt even in. It does the exact same thing with everything connected and nothing connected.

Ya I tried that. I tried without that. I tried with the detatchable 24 pin thing connected, I tried with it disconected with only 20 pins. It just seems like the power butting is constantly being triggered, because it turns off in roughly the same time you would have to hold a power button to...

Computer wont boot

Ok, it's still doing this even with the motherboard outside of the case with absolutely nothing connected to it. I took out the CPU, ram, videocard, Everything. I used two different power supplys, same thing. I tried each of these power supplys with my old motherboard and it doesn't do it...

Computer wont boot

I just bought a new Mobo and CPU, and something is strange now. When I turn on my power supply, it powers on the computer, but only for about 2 or 3 seconds, not long enough to even try to load anything. I don't even have the power on/off wire connected and it does this. I tried switching it...
