Doom3 crashing...

where did you find 4.8? I can only find 4.7 and 4.9 beta. 4.9 beta works well for doom but crashes other games.

how would I know that its not my overclocked system thats causing the crash? Must I down clock my CPU :(

But it still does not explain why people prefer Claw Hammer over NewCastle? Since NewCastle is a new core does it not make sense to buy that instead?

Just ordered this AMD MP 2400+

I dont understand ... It says Athlon XP not MP. So u need to do some modding b4 u can use them as a SMP correct?

AMD 64

Hi, I am thinking of going the AMD 64 route. However b4 I make the plunge I am debating waiting for the new socket 939. Are they really worth the wait. MSI K8N Neo Platinum seems like a sweet mobo. What do you guys think?
