Weak Performance in WoW

I have noticed that WoW performance is based a lot more on CPU power rather than GPU power, especially with lots of players on screen. That being said, I would imagine you should get a decent performance upgrade out of the switch from a 6800GT to a X1950Pro. Are you sure the nvidia drivers...

Huh? As far as I know NCIX only has 2 types of rebates. Instant rebates and Manufacturer's mail in rebates. The instant rebate should have been taken off the price when ordered, if it wasn't you can just call them up. If it was a Manufacturer's mail in rebate you should be complaining about...

Rate this $1500 Conroe build please...

Reading on the ncix forums for that PSU, there seems to be a few people having some significant problems with it. Specifically with the Radeon x19xx series. I'd imagine it would have something to do with the rather skimpy 15A on the 12V rail. If your not on a super tight budget I'd strongly...

Help with overclocking E6600 with P5B Deluxe

What rig are you hoping to run Crysis on?

The rig in my signature, hopefully. Might be able to afford an 8800 GTS or something along those lines though, by the time it comes out. Curious to those who said xbox360 and PS3...I thought crysis was PC only?

In my opinion, unless your going for some monster overclocks stick to the PC2-6400 RAM. You should be able to hit 850MHz with most decent brands (check out yoxxy's C2D memory guide for more details), and that alone will get you 3.6GHz if you keep the stock multiplier on your E6400. I'd also...

Not Really. See this link. Also, the 8800 GTX seems a little overkill to me on a 19". I guess it makes sense if you don't want to upgrade your system at all for the next few years, but I'd still stick with the GTS over the GTX. I'm not really a fan of OCZ RAM, but that's just my own...

PNY 7900GS (OC) vs ATI x1950PRO (cost $50 more)

I just ordered an eVGA 7900GS. With the sale price it was $75 (CND) cheaper than any other x1950 pro offered at www.ncix.com, plus it's eVGA so I'll be able to use the step up program when I build a new system in February.

Hey thanks for the reply. Those prices are from memoryexpress.com, which is local so I won't have to pay shipping. Thanks for the link though, im going to try and get them to pricematch things from there. As for games, WoW isnt the only thing. I would pick up FEAR and Half Life 2 again...
