Quality $25 gift for somebody you barely know?

the flashlight / work light is a good idea, or a Home Depot gift card. If he's into cars and bikes, guaranteed he can find something he needs/wants at Home Depot. And he probably goes there anyway, so it's not like he has to go out of his way. And he can put it towards a more expensive purchase...

Computer turns on but no signal to monitor

Well I got the power supply and cleaned out the computer. The graphics card was loose, I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I didn't even put the new power supply in. The computer seems to be working, but it seems to be running a lot slower than usual.. Here's some log that popped up...

Whats a reliable laptop brand nowadays?

Im looking to buy a laptop during this week of sales, and I wanted to know what you guys would suggest in terms of brands. I used to think reliability was all based on the user, but not anymore. My dell died on me (I think just the power supply) and I have never had a computer just stop working...

Weird, I just unplugged everything and plugged it back in. Powered up fine but at the log in screen it froze and the graphics glitched, then there was a blue screen for a second, oo fast to even read, then restarted by itself. Now it started to a black screen. Im gonna order the power supply...
