So, where's the Intel monopoly?

Competition is good, because most of the time both companies AND consumers win. Of course there are times when one party loses, but with Intel and AMD, I just see win-win. I still buy AMD because I enjoy cheap toys to be replaced more than expensive toys, and I wouldn't want to see that...

Help with freezing problem (not overheating)

I can suggest resetting BIOS in case remnant settings of your past OC are still lurking, if you messed with voltages could see a problem there, but besides that it sounds like typical poor hard drive performance from an old or corrupted drive. I am guessing there weren't any errors detected...

6950 for ~$240 X6 1090T for ~165 If budget is no question, consider getting a 32-42+" 1080p screen, but that's just my opinion.

Which part to upgrade?

As long as your OCing the thing alright, nothing to worry about, the CPU is going to get used up as much as possible for those games, even at higher frequencies. If I were to suggest anything it would be to get a 6850 and OC your CPU, but if it were me I would wait until the game launches...

Random Reboots and freezes

Also 80C isn't that great, so I'm guessing the CPU is overheating and shutting itself off. Consider full clean down, re-apply CPU with paste, get better fans, try with case open, etc. Other than that you've got an old PSU and a new GPU. I would take out your GPU and boot to onboard video...

Which part to upgrade?

Headphone sound problem (Antec 300 case)

I get static more from my front port than my onboard ports, so I pulled out my old SB Audigy Gamer sound card, installed it, NO static :)

Agree with Red Hawk: Vampire - The Masquerade Other than that, Fallout is damn awesome, then of course Arcanum... Hard to think of those classics and then look at what's on the shelves nowadays.

How does "location aware" WiFi work?

Seems like they have your IP address which is location specific like a zip code, then you have a port open through Firefox which sends ping results for nearby networks. Not sure HOW Mozilla does it, but seems pretty simple.

Overclocking tips?

So I have finally gone and chunked my stock cooler for a nice Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro, and have already begun overclocking. Cores run at 18-22 C each at idle, and 29-37 C each at full load ; I have not changed ANY voltages, and I'm not sure if I want to yet... My farthest overclock so...
