Concur, same issue with my GTX770. System performance is fine but the random crashes are really frustrating.

Does anybody know if you can purchase without contract from T-Mobile in-store? For those of us in Canada who do prefer the Snapdragon 820 (development, AOSP roms), the tmo pentaband would probably be the model to get.

Wow, Lollipop 5.1/5.0 has been the worst experience by FAR.

I just upgraded to the LG G2, and it works great with Lollipop. You just have to install a CAF (AOSP) rom for 5.1.1 instead of relying on stock. 5.0 still has issues, many of which were corrected on 5.1. If you can live with slightly inferior camera software, CAF (AOSP) is definitely the way to...

Most store onto a MicroSDHC card, with looping storage. The most popular decent-quality one is the G1W and its variants (the G1W-CB is probably the best option). Make sure you get a version from a recommended vendor, because there are many fakes on ebay/Amazon. https://dashcamtalk.com/g1w/

People that are using matte screen protectors?

Pretty much unusable on any high-DPI displays. I've gone to crystal-type clear screens and just have dealt with the fingerprints. If you want the matte texture/anti-glare, the only option nowadays is to get a mild %age matte. Companies like Photodon make 10%, 25%, 50%, etc. amounts of matte...

News reports state that it'll likely be around $100 less than flagship devices... I'm guessing it'll be in the $600-650 range. I very much doubt it'd hit OnePlus One pricing. Still, if it actually hits all the specifications as advertised, I'd be willing to pay the "$100 less than...

Unfortunately, their first phone (Saygus V1 VPhone) ended up being vapourware, so I'm not 100% optimistic. That being said, I signed up for their pre-order mailing list... We'll see what the initial reviews of the final [non-prototype] models are like.

Connecting IP 66 camera to PC

Most modern surveillance cameras are IP capable. If the intent is just to view (no recording) as if it were a webcam, all you really need to do is connect it to your WAN network, and you should be able to access the camera via its IP address. All major surveillance IP camera manufacturers...

Might as well discharge to 40%, turn your phone off, put it in a ziplock bag, and throw it in your fridge. The service life of your battery will TRULY be prolonged then. :rolleyes:

Providing Wifi at building 100 ft away

Ethernet over Coax is quite frequently used for retrofit of analogue CCTV cameras to IP cameras...most adapters support well over 300ft and easily support 100BaseT. 120-150ft is considered a fairly short distance. Like you suggested in (2), all you'd need to do is to add a second access point...

Just to reiterate what you're saying - you're suggesting only ever charging the phone up to 75% because you're scared it will only retain 80% of its off-the-shelf capacity? That sounds like flawed logic. ChronoReverse is correct - modern charging circuitry doesn't actually constantly top off...
