Motherboard for intel core 2 x6800

I'm putting together a new setup for the upcoming Crysis and CoD4! So I have the cpu (x6800) & videocard (8800 gtx), but I'm stumped on a motherboard to use. I'm willing to spend up to $300, but I'm not sure if spending that much money will get me the best performance. Suggestion please!

Need cooling options for 939 chipset

I'm planning on buying an Amd 64 3500+ 939 chipset and was wondering what kind of cooling would be best. I don't really care about the noise, but quietier is always better. And price isn't much of a concern. I'm not really looking into water cooling yet, but maybe in the future. So any...

Fable for Xbox out today!

I've been playing the game since last night. It's not bad, it's fun. Of course, I just got done playing World of Warcraft so nothing right now compare to that and nothing seems as fun as WOW. Maybe if I didn't play WOW, fable would be an awesom game, but I think it's pretty good..not awesome...

Building a New System: Is it worth it to go AMD 64 at this time?

Go with an A64. I upgraded about a month ago to the 64 2800+ and it rocks in all the games I play (Doom 3, far cry, painkiller, Americas army).

6800 GT & Arctic Cooling VGA

I hope there's not a thread about this, but if there is, sorry. I was curious if anyone who has a 6800 GT have used an Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer for their videocard? I was thinking about getting one and replacing the stock one that's already on it. Any suggestions??

Pny 6800gt problem??

need more info. What driver are you using for your videocard? What version of far cry are you running? 1.0 does not like 6800, 1.1 will work, and 1.2 will work great with 6800. currently playing with version 1.2 on 6800 gt (400/1100) on 1280x1024 on very high. 4xAA & 4xAF, no problem...

GeForce 6800GT Image Problems

Install 1.2, if you can find it. It works for any nvidia 6800 cards. It runs perfectly smooth on my computer, no crashes.
