Why is this SSD Failing?

Thanks guys for the responses. My initial reaction was from endurance tests by The Tech Report and the hundreds of TB writes before failure on their drives. I'm seeing way below that on mine. I've never actually learned to read SMART reports. I'm aware of the issues with this model. I've always...

Why is this SSD Failing?

My Agility 3 240 GB is apparently dying. SMART shows 4% life left. But it also shows less than 8 TB host writes. So why is this drive failing? Are there other factors besides write cycles that affect SSD life?

Maybe, but there used to be a rule that if it's not a -75% discount, don't buy because the daily rotation will get it to -75%. Obviously new games will never hit this level, then or now. But not all older games are -75% currently. I tend to think there were better deals with the old system...

nevermind, we're talking about different regions of the globe. However, of all the hardware proposed or delayed through the years, the 950 is not even close to being labeled as vaporware in my book.
