Not sure what your intent of the site was. But since you have a "services" link I would suggest taking out photos of smoke and your cat. I dont think anyone is going to pay you take photos of your cat.

Manual image correction possible?

I only looked at the first image, if you like it, its only 10 mins in photoshop. Since theres no detail in the sky fixing it is not time consuming or difficult at all...

Recommendations on a Canon DSLR (body only)

The XSi is the closer camera in features and body design to what she has. Her kit lens is pretty horrible, you'd be much better off with a worse body and better lens than a better body and crap lens. Think of it this way, take the best body you can afford, cover the lens with dirt and how good...

Picture Thread

Thanks. I've never advocated getting the latest and greatest body when the lens, light and photographer is the most important part of the picture. I only upgraded for the larger view finder and micro focus adjust. The other things are just bonuses.

Lightroom vs Photoshop

Non destructive editing means exactly that, you can make edits but revert to the original image. This was already present in LR 2 and many other programs. For instance if you want to adjust brightness, and 2 months down the road realize your monitor was too dark and your photo is too light now...

I'm working on a little project. Device draws 3.3V @ 2.8amps. Yes its an LED. The sealed connectors I wanted to use are designed for use with 24AWG wire. I just realized that most 24AWG 2 conductor wire has a recommended max AMP of around ~2. I also noticed that when reading 3-4 conductor...

Gigabyte EP45-DS3L vs Asus P5QL-E

I went with the P5QL-E based on price. The ATX power is my only gripe. It has been stable for me. I have an Infinity Scythe with 2 fans mounted facing front and back.

An attempt at a ghetto gaming PC

The 945 based MB from solid brands such as Foxxcon and MSI are fine. As mentioned, there are some cases with decent PSU already that will fit your budget. I would add a couple of case fans, keep the stock cooler. Do you not have a spare DVD Drive yet?

The board booted my e8400 while I used the RAID controller to get some data off some drives. It of course didn't boot naturally to 3.0Ghz as it couldn't do 1333 FSB, but booted none the less no problems.

Saving .psd as .pdf....

Usually somewhere like Kinko's will also accept a high res Tiff. The reason for a PDF, AI, EPS file is that it's a vector, can scale, and is easy to make changes last minute if need be. When exporting as a PDF, make sure you select press quality. You shouldn't really have a problem if your...
