It is not that bad really. The snow caps tend to stay at home because they can?t stay out late, making room for the younger folks to roam around. In the summer the local watering holes are full of scantily clad university fillies that make any man smiles. Victoria is about 100 miles north west...

Grrr... My wife hit a parked car w/pics

It is not hit & run if the his wife call the police & reported the accident when they find that they have damage there car. And, it could be her that is the victim of a hit & run....it could be some one that hit her at a parking lot & she didn't notice the damage till she is home. What good is...

Need Assistance: Picking Travel Backpack

You might want to get backpack that have supportive spines, waist strap & no more than 60 litters if you are doing more than an hour of walking a day. And, it is best to go to your local shop, such as Mountain Equipment Co-op & get help with picking the right pack for you. My favorite back...

50% of the poplulation is over the age of 55, because of the nice weather. The bonus is that the ratio of single female to male is about 3.5:2 :)

Knoppix Linux

I tried "knoppix26 lang=us" which is a no go. Using F2 & F3 keys didn't show me the English option, but I'll try "knoppix26 lang=en" to see if it would do it.

What program to use to read NTFS under DOS?

NTFSDOS will do it, but you can also try Knoppix, Gnoppix, Morphix, or Damn Small Linux.

Knoppix Linux

I got Knoppix 3.4 booted, but there is no English boot option, however this version looks much cleaner than 3.2 and 3.3. Also kernel 2.4 and 2.6 work great. and the key on the keyboard is not working such as the special keys and, the y and z keys are interchang with each others.

It would help if you look for some one locally that do Access because it is easier to talk to someone one on one & Access is a quick & dirty way to do things. Write down all necessary steps that your business do in a day to day paper work operation. Collect every forms, invoice, estimate...

Would you ditch a ~$14 an hour job with semi-decent benefits for a $25 an hour 6 month contract?

Take the 6 month @ $25 per hour contract because it is a better deal & because you don't like/think that you will have the same job in 2-3 months. $14/hour = $2380 month - 35% tax = $1546 net/month $25/hour = $4250 month - 35% tax = $2762 net/monht At $25/hour with out benefit would mean that...
