Overclocking issue in XP x64?

I get the exact same problem with my rig at stock settings. Once it's booted it's fine, but when booting up, it sometimes will just reboot without warning just as Windows finishes loading up. I'm still trying to determin if it is either a graphics card problem or my motherboard in general...

M-Audio Delta 66 vs Creative Labs Audigy 4 Pro... Recommendations?

Great to hear. I wasn't keen on going with the Audigy 4, i've been avoiding using Creative Labs sound cards for years because i keep seeing post after post after post about problems with them, not to mention CL's reputation for lousy driver support. Looks to me like the Delta 66 will be the best...

Is CPU-Z wrong in showing my new 3500 Clawhammer as Newcastle? And I think temps are too high

Most of those i clicked on were ebay auctions... Not the best place to get CPU info from. Even though the Newegg link says it's a Clawhammer, it isn't. An integral part of the Clawhammer core was the 1mb L2 cache. The first Newcastle cores were simply Clawhammers with half the L2 cache disabled...

AMD64 3400 @ 53C idle...hot?

To my knowledge there never was a Clawhammer core 3500+. All Clawhammer core A64's had 1mb L2 cache while all 3500+'s had 512k L2 cache, meaning it's a Newcastle...
