I guess I find it odd that the last 5 years TW techs that came over to address resolving host issues never mentioned I should have a router and that broadband users can be attacked like open wifi ones. Heck even their setup guides dont mention routers.

Wow, I always thought a single user with one pc using roadrunner cable modem straight from the wall jack was fine. I guess I will get a router then. Sounds like you guys are suggesting a format. ugh! thanks

Using Service Pack 3 XP, Avast!, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and I always thought I was fairly safe on roadrunner cable modem as a single user/no router setup but I cant figure out these issues. Is it benign technical issues or something malicious? The last year I will lose my internet while...

How do slowdown a blue screen of death long enough read it?

I need figure out/ be able to read a blue screen of death I am getting with my new pc when I am playing WoW. It does it everytime and locks ups and then resets my pc only at certain section of the game but goes by too fast! Any way freeze the screen or at least slowdown so I can read error...

What good stable MB for Duo core 2 setup?

Fan Issue on GA-965P-S3

Grr, tried start it up with changes today, F8 bios and legacy fan mode and now fan will not spin at all after working for 5hrs yesterday night. Im tried of this crap, its going back.

Flashed Bios to F8 and changed to legacy fan speed. So far so good but I have gone as long 2hrs before and it started up again. Figures crossed :) thanks for help

Ah I would need modulator adapters then. Im curious if changing to legacy here will fix it in bios smart fan settings.

Fan Issue on GA-965P-S3

My Cpu Fan keeps turning off 20-1hr into booting my new system. I hear now that Gigabyte GA 965P-S3 has this issue. It shuts off my pc and makes it hard to boot too. Any suggestions or others with thesame issue? About ready to mail this mobo back to newegg. I downloaded some F8 bios, no idea...

After installing xp with my new rig I having issues like every 20mins or so. It seems to randomly shutoff/reset, especially when I put cd into tray and try to install new program or driver. Sometimes it seems to still be on but monitor starts to blink and screen goes black. Then I try to reset...

SLI GTS or would just one GTX be best for me?

There much of difference from 965 Ps and Gs Motherboards? few out of stock on newegg and cant seem find what seperates them. Could any do quad core someday or they all limited to extreme duo as most upgraded cpu? That WoW comparsion was great, thank you

Thanks, I Just want the absolute best performance I can get out WoW. Very hard to explain trying compete PVP in that game when getting 5-10FPS. If single GTX will offer no real benefit over 7600GT I look into that. Need find decent MB that isnt 680i then now and can be abit future proof on...
