Fallout 4 - it's official! Coming Nov 10, '15

According to Sir Salami at Nexus it will be when 1.5 patch goes live. They have been working with Bethesda getting Mod Manager to work with the GECK and that is finished. I have the updated Manager downloaded. It should be soon.

Newegg tracking me?

I opted out of their emailing list when they started doing Deal of the Day or whatever it was. I haven't had any email from them for quite a while. Only for order confirmation. Longer than three years I'm sure. Like I said it was something completely different for me.

Newegg tracking me?

I have been a customer of Newegg since it was an off-shoot of ABS. Bought my first real computer from ABS. Never seen this from them before, for me an unwelcome change.

Never had this happen before and I usually check something there at least once a month. Don't care for this at all. Not sure what the future holds for me and any site that does this. Micro Center will probably get all of my business not just most of it.

Had something happen today that I'm not too happy with. Yesterday I was looking through heatsinks at Newegg, not logged in, just window shopping. Today I get a email from them, "Hi costumer, looking for heatsinks, bla bla". Too much information being stored somewhere. ---------------- Hi This...

Forbes.com (and others) stop on ad blockers now

Maybe, but I never see any ads at all. One correction, can't get to Forbes now. No loss. As long as the Times still works, I'm OK. The other sites mentioned still load for me. Add Wired to my no go list. Not going to pay or whitelist it. TweakTown still loads.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I have no problems reading any of the sites mentioned in this thread using IE11 with ABPro. No blocks at all. Anyone else see this? Every time this thread gets bumped I check for changes but none so far.

Forbes.com (and others) stop on ad blockers now

ABP on IE11, Firefox, and Opera. IE11 loads with no problem, all adds blocked. Firefox, just get a blank page. Opera, I get the disable ABP notice. All load the same with Malwarebytes Premium running or turned off. Not that I care about the site, anyway. Been there maybe once in the last year.

Prettying up Windows 10

Windows 10 freezing issue

I'd give it a shot. It's pretty painless except for the time involved. I wasn't really having problems with my updated W10 but did it just to make sure everything was clean.

Windows 10 freezing issue

Under Update and Security-Recovery there is an option to reset your PC. You can choose to save your files or do a clean install. I did a clean install to an updated OS with no problems. No need for ISO. If you have done this already maybe you have a driver issue.
