Router like functionality with PC with 2 nics...

Actually I have already purchased a router online only it looks like it'll be at least the towards the end of next week before I have it in my hand.

Router like functionality with PC with 2 nics...

I am in between routers right now and have a week to go without one. I have a PC running Vista and Ubuntu with 2 nics. I also have a VoIP phone. Is there some way I can have both my PC and the VoIP phone connected to the internet. My PC has 2 nics so it should be doable, but I am not too sure...

OK, I checked by actually feeling the heatsink while the PC was running. It doesn't feel warm, but the CPU temperature measures at 67c. I checked the BIOS, I am running the latest version by MSI and the CPU voltage in BIOS shows 1.2V Any more ideas? Could it be possible that my motherboard...

Thermalright ultra 90 and AMD 3800 x2 (939)...

The mobo has been running fine with an older 3000+ that I upgraded from. I'll check to see if the CPU and Heatsink feel hot\warm. Also I am not OCing, so don't think the BIOS settings could be a problem. Thanks for the help

Help with MOBO issue...

Some more update. I got a new msi k8t neo2-f from tigerdirect and found that even that board will also only boot with only 1 DIMM. Using both the DIMM the board won't even post. Interchanging the memory sticks does not change anything. Does this indicate a problem with the new MOBO or is it...

Sorry for the lack of updates, had a family emergency and could not find time to work on my PC. So I got to trying a few things and I noticed that the PC will come up after I clear the CMOS. On post it displays an error saying "CMOS Checksum error, press F1 to continue, del to enter setup"...

Help with MOBO issue...

If I don't change anything, it'll boot into the OS once and then on the next boot, not take the monitor off the standby. The D-Bracket LED will go all green, but no display.

Folks, My motherboard has started to give my trouble after I tinkered with the heatsink on the CPU. At first, the machine would simply not show the initial screen. It would simply give a long beep then a pause followed by a long beep... I removed one of my memory stick and cleared the CMOS...
