it looks like the performance page has changed since announcement , adding more games/perf metrics which is fine, but it's odd, on the 5080 page They've swapped out the non- 4x frame Gen supporting games for different ones, and the performance uplift over 4080 is much lower. Seems unusually...

Question Did anyone here actually get a Vanta back in the 90's?

I bought one for a neighbours PC I put together , I had a normal TNT2 was shocked how much of a slideshow Quake III was when testing it. Lucky it wasn't a gaming PC

thanks. Sorry i'm a bit behind on the full notebook stack , Seems strange to use the Arrowlike nomenclature without LNC/ . So these are sort of budget, mass-market chips? are there no lion cove /Skymont based higher core count U parts? I'm just trying to visualise what the halo parts are in...

He joined Intel as a Snr Vice president of the group.. Not an Engineer. Thus no involvment in core development. Ditto AMD (Chief of Processor group) Regardless. No one person designs a CPU architecture/core.

If this was true, all the productivity benchmarks wouldn't scale in performance from, say a 9900X to 9950X (i.e 24 to 32 threads) now wouldn't it, so with the current Core/thread count(s) on client at least it absolutely is not useless.
