Wifi on a home pc vs wired?

Yep I have the R6300 AC Router and the A6200 WiFi AC adapter and I am getting 582 Mbps on 5Ghz.

Help! Need new gaming laptop or...??

Look at the ASUS UX32VD. It has an integrated V-card and you can swap out the HHD for an SSD and you can upgrade the mem to 8g.

Default gateway won't work anywhere! NETGEAR crap.

Dude this is how products get a bad name from inexperienced people jumping the gun and blaming the hardware. Now start a new thread stating that the Netgear router does accommodate inexperienced people and magically tell them what there password and ip address is.

Can you check to see what chanel you are on? Try changing the chanel to a less crowded one.

I dont understand what your point is I may be missing something... I fixed the one issue I was having with my R6300 and now it is fast with a strong single and steady on 5g.

I had an issue with my Netgear R6300 until I changed my 5 g band to a different chanel. Now 100% signal and steady. Love this router
