I just picked up two of these and LOVE them LG 27EA63-p IPS and very nice colors and image is crisp!

Use Bullet or Havok, vs. PhysX a it's proprietary and I hate that crap, leaves AMD out and I know it's a marketing strategy for Nvidia... but in the end I want cross platform and run once on anything when I use something. As to CUDA, I wish it would die and Nvidia just get behind OpenCL as...

How do vPro, VT-d, Trust Execution, and TSX Help me? 4770 vs 4770K

TSX from what I have read could end up giving you 40% increase in performance in software that has been coded for it!!! down the road. all the virtualization stuff I can't comment on, but if you do run multiple OSes and such my guess is it will be worth it to you to get a non K version, as the...

Intel Xeon E3-1275V3 temp?

Anyone have this CPU? If so what are your temps? Also, since the Xeon CPUs are binned better from what I hear, anyone know if the Intel Xeon E3-1275V3 will run cooler under stock loads vs. a 4770 or 4770k? THanks!

Gigabyte - DPC Latency

DPC Latency which was jumping around even at idle, but this was the result of the pre-release BIOS. Updating to at least BIOS F5 from the GIgabyte website gives a more stable value similar to the other boards in this review. says it was as pre release BIOS and was taken care of with rev F5.

Z87 USB3 bug rev update when?

I am waiting and hear no news on when the USB3 bug is going to be fixed on the Z87 motherboards... I thought I read July but nothing on news sites how or if this is still on track and any leaks on new MB revisions or models... THanks!

Haswell or 8350

I Hate You Gigabyte

I have used a boat load of Gigabyte MB's also, and never had any issues with them either... not saying they don't have bad eggs, but saying overall they have a good product. I like Asus and MSI also, but usually end up with a Gigabyte MB in the end....

Haswell overclocking

Ditto! I may look at building my next rig after 4770k with a HW-E X99 setup with Nvidia Volta or whatever AMD has out for GPU's then... but that is around 2016-2017 timeframe so at least 3 to 4 years I will be rocking a 4770k I hope as that would be the longest I HAVE EVER OWNED A COMPUTER...

HASWELL core I5: Performance Preview

From what I am finding out it may work on Win7 since they use Dx11 to mess with this I guess... From what I was told the latest 15.31.3071 driver allows this to be used in Win7... Anyone have a iGPU on a desktop running Win7 to test this? Thanks!

i7 3820, 3930k, or 4770k

I am also hearing that Haswell will the last LGA? for consumer line... but X79 or X99(High end desktops) will keep LGA? So I am guessing that a 3930k right now will still be faster overall vs. the 4770k if not overclocking... What about IB-E, will it have AVX2? or will we have to wait for...
