    As far as i have been able to tell, the thorton has 256k L2. According to some, it is possible to unlock the other 256k L2 cache. I read the article at xbitlabs.com. But, now it looks like AMD has removed this possibility in later week models as braxus mentioned above. MatrixOps

    Yeah, i just ordered the thorton cored processor. Now, I have come across the article from overclockers.ru, but it only shows a picture of the bridged L2, but no real explanation of the process. Is there any other sites that may have information on unlocking the L2 on the thorton core chips...
