Recommend me a new Vehicle -- **too Confused**

I'm shopping for an 07 G35X right now, I was looking at the M's as well, but after having driven an 06 M45 decided against it. I was pretty disappointed with pretty much everything, especially the steering and overall road feel.

Anybody ever rebuild a Mitsubishi 6g72

Could be a severe case of lifter tick? :P I know the cars suffer from it not sure if it can go to such an extent though.

Doing the car shopping thing for a while now and entertaining the thought of a used luxury sedan. So I was wondering what you all thought about the 7 series? I am aware that it is an expensive luxury vehicle and the parts/maintenance is $$, but the prices for some of the 2006ish classifieds...

I dont think navigation should be too much to ask these days... I mean you can pick up a nice color touchscreen, voice over and birds eye view Garmin unit for like $200. Yet some of the options for built in GPS units still demand 4-5k premium, pretty much consumer rape in my opinion.

Ive been looking at a G8 GT for a while, have yet to go to the dealer to see one though. Couple of things do bother me about it, it seems to have no navigation (except through OnStar? How does that work?), only 36k/3yr warranty... and I'm not a fan of plastic interiors, which the entire dash...

2008 was the year man-made global warming was disproved

A week before Christmas we were well on the way to -20C up here in Toronto, ON and we got like 2ft of snow in a couple of days. Yesterday it was +12C and most of the snow that hasn't been compacted is now gone. Global cooling.. warming.. I'm not sure what to think anymore.

Engine "Ticking"

It's most likely the lifters, as mentioned. My 3000GT had that problem and it got better/worse depending on oil level/freshness/quality. Metallic items (like exhaust) cooling down. The metal expands when heated and contracts when cooled.
