Infuriating motherboard/PSU problem

Had a PSU failure recently (exploded). I RMA'ed it (enermax noisetaker 600w) and got a new Noisetaker II. I hooked it up and it wouldn't fully power up my motherboard (DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR). Got standby LEDs, but hitting the power switch would only make it power up for a split second. The new...

Ad-aware SE professional vs AVG Anti-Spyware

Ad-Aware is utterly useless these days. The ones you need are SpyBot, Spy Sweeper and Spyware Doctor (always picks up the most stuff).

PSU went up in smoke, did it take my mobo with it?

It's a PIB so should be covered by AMD. I hooked up my new PSU to my dad's PC and it powers up fine, so I can take that out of the equation. I also tested my drives and sound card in his PC and they were OK. It seems quite likely that it is the motherboard. I'll see if I can borrow a PCI...

Ah, I might look at this again... I did connect one to the CPU fan connector, but it may not have had the necessary 3 wires

Anybody beat Far Cry on Realistic skill level?

High res screenshots from that ps3 game, not impressed

Looks fine to me. The PS3 doesn't have a huge amount of RAM to play with. GPU power is probably also a lot more limited than people assume.

o.O Far Cry Vengeance coming to Wii

Those are some BAD graphics. The 360 version wasn't too hot either. The water was nice, but the models and textures were puke.
