PS3 instock

I went to two Game Stop stores in Hillsboro, OR (Promenade Esplanade and Tannasborne Mall) tonight, and they both had the PlayStation 3 60gig version in stock. No bundles, just the unit itself for $599. The first store said they've had stock on hand for the last 2 days.

I guess one reason for the ho hum reception is the fact that the listed cache size under the tech spec is only 2 Megs! That's pretty small for such large capacity drive. Most drives these days have at least 8 Megs of cache, with many of them listing 16 Megs of cache.

I would, if the songs were encoded in plain MP3. I don't mind paying, I just don't like all the restrictions and the hassles. I won't share the songs with anyone else, but I do want to have them in my car, when I jog, and play them at home on my CD playe, etc. without aquiring seperate licenses...

It did the same for me, but then I noticed it is listing the store that actually have the item in stock. This is a very good deal, with a small rebate to boot! I picked two of them for me and a friend! ;)
