Yet another Z-5500 Post

I have given up. I am not going to bother with the co-ax anymore. My dvd occupies the optical in of the Z-5500 and the cable box occupies the co-axial. It is going to be a hassle to change the speaker wires everytime I want to use it, anyway. Thanks for all the advice.

Yes I have. I have actually tried 4 different co-axial cables. Today I went to Walmart and spent 15 dollars on a philips co-axial digitla cable, and it came with all the orange and beautiful plastic that you would expect from a $15 cable. That did not do the trick. I went ahead and...

i'm so sorry for posting what every other person does here: laptop advice

Another vote for the IBM. I have an X41 and it is smaller than a notebook, lighter than most of my books. I would go for the x40 since it is cheaper and has a little more battery life, X60 if you have the money. No problems with Lenovo customer service so far...

Creative technical support says reinstall drivers in safe mode. I am too lazy to do that, since the rest of the card seems to be working fine, I doubt this is going to change anything. I am going to get cables this weekend and maybe see if there is another digital co-axial-in I can use aside...

X41, Pentium M 1.5Ghz

I was checking on the CPU speed just a second ago, and I realized that it does all the way down to 239Mhz, but is usually around ~589 Mhz when at its lowest multiplier, but I realize that Windows does not always correctly identify the speed. Anybody have similar experiences?

My Z-5500s are popping randomly

I agree with the last post. I have the same speakers, and hear popping noise when the dish washer behind the tv, in the kitchen starts working. No poppong when it is not working.

Here is the setup. Audigy 2 zs connected to Logitech Z-5500 through 1) RCA analog, which works fine 2) Digital Co-axial with a 1/8inch mono rca adapter, which does not. The co-axial in on the Z-5500 works fine with other inputs, such as the cable box, so I know that the speakers are not...

HP 3210 printers

I have a 3320, which is probably very similar. It is not of the best quality and does have some problems every so often.
