China bars former American Olympic Gold Medalist.

I don't see what the big freaking deal is.... Obviously he's not taking part in the SUMMER games nor does he have any connection to it. He's been blacklisted in immigration (like the US doesn't do that) probably till next month when the games are over. Then he could go in as he wishes and...

raid5 card died...do i need to rebuild?

Tracing/Profiling in Java?

JProbe or OptimizeIt is what you can use... Or modify your code to use something like Spring AOP's methodinterceptor.

Which has more job opportunities?

learn concepts of programming and you can apply them to most any language. imo, java is a much better server side language while .net is easy to pump out desktop applications. I agree that if you want to learn OO concepts, Java is a good place to start.

Well played AMD

that asrock board is based on the 945p chipset. I guess they were one of the few that had implemented VRM11 on those boards. Not sure about DDR2-800 support though. Asrock also has a board based on the VIA chipset that supports conroe....(with ddr and agp also! lol) truth is at this time...

by my estimation, conroe is about 20% faster than X2 at the same clock speed.

what he's saying that if it'll be closer if you add in the power consumption of the motherboard chipset, because AMD has the memory controller built in. And he's right because you don't just run a PC with just a CPU and not a motherboard. Anand shows that at idle, an X2 system still uses less...
