    yiranhu You were right, the HSF had 3 of the 4 pins loosem, there was no contact to the CPU at all. I cleaned HSF and CPU with Acticlean 1 and 2, then used AS5, re-seated the Ninja and and now I have CPU at idle 31 C and MoBo, 32 C... But definitely, installing the Scythe Ninja was NOT the...

    Harvey, you must be absolutely right..... Now my PC simply shuts down after just a few minutes... there is definitely something wrong with my HSF. I already ordered AS5 and the cleaninig kit and I will re-seat the HSF during the weekend. Thank you all for your replies. You've helped...

    Lupi, please be aware that by updating the Nvidia drivers to the ones approved by Futuremark, I got an increase of 3DMARKS from 8825 to 8935.

    I did a load test with Intel TAT, 2 minutes 60% load for CPU1, then 2 minutes same load for CPU2, then both CPUs with the same load. MB temperature was always 34 C CPU temperature was reported 70 C during 1 CPU load only and jumped at 82 C with load on both CPUs. Quite a lot I would say...

    I already use them all: PC Probe2, TAT, SpeedFan etc... they all show me the same temperature values, +/- 1-2 C. They cannot all be wrong.... Therefore, I suspect that the compound layer is too thick or aome other similar issue. I will have to take the MB out of the case and re-install the...
