Buying a new case and powersupply and wondering how much power I would need with my two disk drives, zip, and harddrive?

New case with a Fire wire port

I am thinking about a case that has a firewire port upfront. What would I hook that to? a video card, sound card, or my mother board? I havent got any of them yet, waiting to buy until I know what to do. Help please.

Mouse hangs unexplainable?

Plugging into the usb port rather then the ps2 port does not make a difference. It's wierd, and I have no idea on how to diagnose it. Like I said, its not a huge problem, but really annoying. Thanks again.

Mouse hangs unexplainable?

It hangs for like a second, but it is noticable. Not really a big deal, just kind of annoying. I hope it is not a memory problem. It is a logitech ball/wheel mouse. It hangs in both xp and win 2000. Thanks

Mouse hangs unexplainable?

Hey all, I recently purchased a northwood 1.6a with an Asus P4S333 mobo, ever since installing windows every so often when I launch IE my mouse will hang for like a second. Not all the time either, maybe once or twice in ten tries. Anyone have any ideas on how I could diagnose this? Or what...

Anyone have experience with rounded IDE/floppy cables?

I had the same problem with my QVS rounded floppy cable. Other than the ide cable comming unplugged very easily, it works well.

P4S333 settings

Hey guys, Just installed my 1.6a and P4S333 and have it oc'd to 120 fsb at the moment. Is there a turbo 1 setting on this board? I have looked every where, but see nothing that says as such. I see a 1 T under a memory setting, but that is it. I want to be sure I am not overclocking my...

Did I screw up??

Hey all, I just got a new p4 1.6a and Asus P4S333 mobo. I took my exacto knife and took the thermal tape off the stock hsf. I then used Joy dishwashing soap to clean the residue off it. Just used a very little dab with some cold water. After that, I wiped it down with a clean cloth. Good...

Going from AS2 to AS3

Not sure about the dark spots, but regarding the performance after the 72 hour "burn in" period for your AS3. You should notice roughly a 4 degree improvement on temps. MB
