Just need Stable Router

I have one at my parents house and five of them in my home. They're extremely reliable. They can also easily be configured and adjusted by a "regular" person from an iPhone or iPad in their default state if there's ever trouble.

Odd Cat5e issue

How can that be? The cable works perfectly and multiple testers, jumpers, etc. all show all the pins connected - just crossed over. I would think a nail would wipe out some of the pins ability to connect and show issues with connectivity, packet loss, ability to hold PoE...no?

Odd Cat5e issue

Different Jumpers were used each time I tested and the keystone is leviton like the others. Could a defective keystone cause this?

Changing HDD drive orientation

Do we need a BIG wireless router to stream Netflix?

It's hard to say for sure without doing a lot more troubleshooting, but those Netgear routers have always been very unreliable. For what it's worth, I've had good luck with the Apple Airport Extreme routers - especially the newer ones.

Problems with X1600 and Abit Mobo

I can't even get into the Cat control panel because I keep getting the same error message about a missing ATI graphics driver. I have tried to update through the device manager with no success. I guess the card will go back to the store and I'll try an Nvida 6600 or something...
