For what it's worth, this appears to be the older version of this USB adapter. There is now a v2.6 that has a little antenna arm on it. From what I have read around the net the newer version works better.
Picked mine up yesterday (must be a few of us San Diego folks in here) and it looks brand new. Manufacture date of 12/98. Only thing I noticed at all was at certain resolutions the extreme upper-left corner of the screen seemed to flicker ever so slightly. Could just be my hyper-critical...
Please email one to me. I want to head over tonight. Nobody is mentioning if they are honoring the scans....are they? My store still has it for $379 in the computer. Is it possible that it would ring up for less or am I ignorant of their inventory/POS system?

Still nothing from Wheresmyrebate.com for the Visiontek GF3 Ti200 rebate from Thanksgiving Best Buy sale!! I called and they've pushed the date back again...now it is May 31st! This is ridiculous how long it is taking. I even started to get a little irate on the phone but they kept giving me...
This is not overly hot. A number of sites are selling Kingston 512MB PC2100 DDR modules for ~125. I agree you save on shipping but maybe $10 at the most. You could debate which RAM is better ad nauseum but I've always had good experiences with Kingston RAM.

Motherboard and CPU (P4 1.6A @ 2.4) are running beautifully. However, I've noticed a significant volume drop from my old sound card (Creative Soundblaster PCI 128). I've checked all volume sliders and settings I can find and still can't really get it loud. It is usable but with the old card...
Ordered on the 13th, got it on the 18th. Like many others Dell's estimated ship date was way off but the deal worked like a charm. Haven't had time to install yet but looks like plenty of little details to check out according to prior posts. Here's to AT Hot Deals!

Ordered mine yesterday -- total of $39.11 shipped to San Diego, CA. The ship by date on Dell's site says 3/28 but UPS tracking already has it in L.A. area from Sunnyvale. Looking forward to my first DVD drive! Don't plan on watching many movies but sooner or later software will start being...
Thanks for the instructions. After reading the other post about batches I'll have to check that out. However, I'm running my 1.6A @ 2.4 with stock cooling so who really cares? :)
I want to input my CPU into the overclockers.com database but am not sure how to read the date from the product code. Is there a site or post that details this: s-spec, plant, batch etc.?
Thanks,
Mo.
HAD one. Was struggling with hanging during any files transfers over the IDE bus. Didn't have a lot of time to get it running so I went back, got a P4B266 and it has been fine ever since. Can't absolutely blame the board because I didn't have a lot of time to try various things but it is the...
===GF3 Ti200 BestBuy update===
Well, inspired by all of the successful calls I decided to pick up the phone to Wheresmyrebate.com. Their online status listed me twice, both with DENIED. Call the 800#, got a very nice lady who approved the rebate (said they probably made a mistake) and I...
OK, it was too late last night when I was working on this. This morning I ripped a HD led out of an old case and .... VOILA! it worked. So my shiny new case has a bad HD led. No big deal, I'll just make fixing it my first case mod -- make it neon or something. Thanks for the suggestions

Just putting the new system together. The hard drive is an older 8.4GB IBM ATA33. Case is FS-710BB (Antec) with Enermax power supply. Motherboard is MSI 645 Ultra. No matter which way I orient my HD LED connector, I get no light coming out. Does this have anything to do with and ATA33 drive...
Just bought one at PCN on corner of Convoy and Clairemont Mesa Blvd. Not a very fancy place but good guys. It was $151.79 + tax. Not the best price but no shipping charges, local service, and much lower than a couple of other stores in town.
