I agree with DigDog. I have the EVGA SuperNova G2 750W. I didn't need an 850W. They were also quick with the $15 rebate they had at the time.
In addition to JohnnyGuru, PC Perspective, Hexus and separate reviews at TechPowerUp 850W 750W
Edit: Also agree about an R5. Or even an R4. I have both...
If you decide to pull the block, pay attention to how tight or loose it was. When you reinstall it, make sure you use a criss-cross pattern like how tire wheels are mounted. Don't over tighten. Make sure any residual thermal paste is completely removed before reapplying. Don't use a paper towel...
Okay folks. My OP was about which one. Got very little feedback. Since I did get it you all seem to be coming out of the woodwork to tell me how bad it is and how a 970 would be better. Seems easier to knock it rather than recommend.
I bought it, installed it and like it very much. No regrets.
Run God mode and have 262 options in one spot that can also be used to create shortcuts.

I planned on using it and somehow lost a couple of parts. Not like me to misplace stuff. Decided to go a different direction and try something new.
You know, I originally typed Five. Then I edited it and goofed the math. I'll change it back. Not only that but I also thought I was posting in a different thread where several generalizations were made. Several charts posted, etc. That's what happens when I am messing around with a new GPU and...
Thanks for your observations. It got weird when I powered it on. The fans were running full bore. I rebooted and it was the same. They shut off in a few seconds and then a couple of times they would just crank up for no apparent reason. Ambient was quite cool and I still had one case side...
Oh my gosh, I am so tired of the generalizations that closed loop coolers are loud. A lot are, but mine is not. I can't even hear it. It has a variable pump and fans which makes a difference. It's the only AIO that is variable. As well as Noctua NF-P14 140mm fans. So go ahead and write off the...
