3900x should arrive today. Motherboard ended up on back order and have managed to source one elsewhere, few £ more but I am impatient to get the new build going.

I had been leaning towards the Strix but saw that i would never use the DP or HDMI whereas i would get use from the extra USB of the C8H. I also have concerns about RAM, I have 2x16gb b-die to use and have heard ASUS is less headache in that regard. I have a NH-D15 for cooling so wont be going...

Nothing this side of the pond. Guess I'll have to keep a separate window open at work as I don't want to miss it. Settled on the C8H for a motherboard, if this Motherboard, CPU, RAM combo lasts as long as my Z87 system I may as well treat myself.

What is the "worst" gift you got for Christmas this year?

No nothing like that. Its a gift from a much younger sibling who is not good with technology at all. I'm sure she decided to get me smellys and the VR bit was just a "ooh he likes technology, VR = Technology". It put a smile on my face at least :D
