Thanks! I went ahead and got one today. Printed out a few things (including the 100$ rebate from HPs retail site) and I'm really impressed. damn fast compared to my old HP IIIP!

well I'm not talking overclocking the processor inside. I find it hard to believe that HP would use entirely seperate parts for their different models. I would think they would group their products and just set a software setting to print at X speed. Anyone have any experience with HP roms or...

I've been reading about different HP laser printers (1012 and 1300 series) and have been wondering if there is really any reason for the difference in speed. The 1012 prints at 15 ppm, the 1300 at 20ppm. Is there any reason one couldn't "update" the firmware, or whatever hp printers have, to...

before you guys get all googly eyed over the G spec and how it can hit 108 I'd suggest you look at benchmarks. I have yet to see a benchmark where a wireless device hits its theoritical max. I can on the other hand max out my 100Mbit NIC (or atleast come damn close.)
