to answer mechbgon first, sorry, the version is premier 1.5, soon to be premier 2.0 and to answer bob4432, adobes web site isint the greatest when it comes to forums, and I wanted something impartial to tell me the "true" difference in performance between AMD and Intel... If I wanted to go...

I had no clue you needed a bigger video card to deal with this kind of stuff, otherwise I would have asked him to go with something bigger, and I've tried putting a second gig of ram in his system, same kind of results. I will ask him to give me more details and also codes of when the cpu...

I'm sure everyone here has heard some stories about AMD being more or less compatible with softwares from Adobe, especially Premier. One of my friend is currently running this configuration AMD 3800+ X2 with 512k L2 cache Asus A8N-E 1 Gig dual channel corsair ram 1 X300SE 128 meg card...

Need to hockup 5 monitors off 1 computer

dont forget russian, it is impossible to have both integrated and agp/pci working at the same time... not to mention that Asrock is the worst motherboard manufacturer I've ever delt with... in the 12 motherboards of Asrock I sold, 8 broke down the following month, and of the rma batch that came...

the prices actually pretty much even themselves out. I can get the processor for 550$ and the board for 225$ For the Intel, I can get the processor dirt cheap, about 275$, but the board ends up being almost 100$ mroe expensive, not to mention another 100$ for another gig of ram in DDR2. I...

I might get a beep if I had a pc speaker... like the pc turns on, all the fans turn on, but I dont get a video response... I have been thinking about getting a pci card... but both graphic cards work fine on this old Biostar M7VIW.... arf.. anyone knows where I cant get information to proceed...

good point pkrush... it is true I am using a "no name" psu... its a 420 watts... atleasts thats what it says on top... and yes snor, I did reset the bios using the jumpers. But the computer is booting... its just not showing up anything on the main screen...

as you can see, my sempron is overclocked by 20%. It normally runs at 2 ghz but now operates at 2.4 ghz.. every once in a while when I would reboot my main screen with the logo would break down and nothing would work, I was forced to reboot again... Now about 2 hours ago I wanted to try out the...

no unfortunetly they will all be displaying something different, otherwise I would have already told him to go with a vga splitter. All your comments have been great guys I honestly wasent expecting to have such a great feedback.

thanks for the links animal, unfortunetly there isint much on they're web sites about hardware, every issue there has mostly to do with software. I would just like the opinion of anyone who has tried protools with either Intel or AMD to tell wich will give me the best bang for buck, thanks in...

I know it may sound a little funny, but I've been looking long and hard on the internet, I'm just really curious to know what Asus first mobo looked like. I know that they have been here since 1989, so I'm guessin it cant be super big, but it would be funny to see... heck while I'm at it, why...
