So I bought a flash drive in China...

I fell for this scam too... I e-mailed the eBay seller and he (luckly) refunded my money. However, in the meantime, I found out that "they" use a (kinda) ghost program that formats the drive, but reports to Windows Explorer almost any capacity you want. I believe you can find the program...

Turning off write protection of USB based readers?

Forgot to mention, I tried all the other tricks - tape over the lock switch, going into DOS... none of that worked. Got the other card reader and it started working...

Where is the 2TB boot limit located?

This past year we installed a HP MSA (a shell to install multiple drives in). It is fiber connected and has 15 (300 GB) drives. Which in RAID 5 territory comes out to be over 3 GB of storage. Unforunately, we couldn't get a single 3 GB of hard drive space because of the limitation you speak...

Anyone use a toshiba tablet laptop?

Windows Explorer won't auto load on flash drive

Double-click on "My Computer", right-click on the device in question, choose Properties, and go to the AutoPlay tab. The Options that joshharrington mentioned are right there.

Unable to get to Network Identification Wizard or change domain name in Windows XP

Just a few thoughts: Are these computers on a domain? Are they connected to the LAN? Valid IP address? Sounds like you have some policies going on.... hiding some of these options. Either that, or you're running XP Home (instead of Pro). Reply back...
