How to dispose hard drive data in my dying laptop?

I agree with the almost free tools but no one mentioned almost free....plus who knows what the government has "given" away with all the times they've been compromised. The methods to ensure destruction should depend on the value of the data and not what one thinks can or cannot be recovered...

New gogamer deals

You're a couple weeks late on Sin E1.....got it from GG for $4.99 a couple weeks back when they had Supreme Commander for $25. Then I got Stalker....wtf was I thinking? Anyway, never had a problem with GG and I always choose "dirt cheap" shipping option. Think 6 days is the longest it took...

PS3 available in Wisconsin (Madison possibly others)

Not really a "hot deal". 3 at the Wally World by me yesterday when I went by the electronic section....a couple at 3/4 of the Gamestops/EV Games (see South Park) in the area....Best Buys are supposed to be getting a load of them this weekend. The PS3 would be better if there was something...

Nintendo Wii Available NOW!!!!

3rd Wii....sheesh...got my one and my wifes cousin got his at GS...we were going to get one for his nephew, but a guy in front of us decided to buy one and is trying to pawn it on Craigslist for $400. Hope he chokes on it. Anyway, the Wii is cool...actually got my wife interested in gaming...

Nintendo Wii Available NOW!!!!

Component cables, at least those from Nintendo, are out of stock until mid-December...literally, as that is coming from the Nintendo store. I'm not sure of any 3rd party component cables, but I'm looking as well. If people are looking for Wii's, talk to your TRU Manager or AM and butter them...

Got BOTH of my rebates within 4 weeks from the earlier PCConnection deal. The monitor, is awesome - at least the one that I have. No complaints at all and it looks every bit as good, if not better, than my Dell LCD. Of course, to each his own, but I've played everything from various FPS...

New e6300 setup - 2 days from buying

Why not dump the WD120 and the SATA->IDE connector and get a 320GB HD? Just a thought that would run through my mind. I am assuming that you are planning on OCing the chip (why get the DS3 if you are not?) and those lovely IDE cables only clog up the airways. Again, just a thought.
