Should I upgrade to a new 8800 gts (640mb) or wait for the next gen Nvidia card (G92) which I think is due out in November, or maybe even wait for the next gen ATI card the 2950. I currently have the 7800gt.

Good thought but Costco does not usually sell special redesigned(in terms of color that is) consoles or handhelds. They usually stick with one color and one type of packaging.
