Question ROG STRIX Z390E BIOS Update

Just read online if you're running Win 10 version 1703 or later, it comes with a tool MBR2GPT.EXE located in Windows/System32 directory and apparently you don't have to back everything up first. Here's the link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/mbr-to-gpt Anyone ever try this?

Question Should I finally make the switch to AMD?

I didn't see that thread. Yea , I guess I'll wait to read the new reviews to come. But you guys are prob right, I was just itchin to upgrade :) I use my 4k Sony TV as a monitor so I'm kinda limited to 60hz. I guess I thought maybe the extra cores and threads would have given me some difference.

Haha! Believe me that's what I was praying for. My 1080 prob did the same thing and didn't even realize. But this was a time that seems so long ago when we were able to walk into a store and purchase a video card no problem :)

Time to upgrade my wifi

I actually tried that. Wifi analyzer will show full stars on a channel. The moment I switch to that channel , whether its 6 or 11, it goes to 1 star next time I check. This is 2.4ghz. Whether my gaming pc is on 5 or 2.4, I watch the signal fluctuate from full strength to 1 bar. Silly question...
