Possible to get huge healthcare bills even with insurance?

I agree with fuzzy, I'm pretty sure it's possible. https://www.healthcare.gov/glossary/out-of-pocket-maximum-limit/ Most plans would have a separate / higher out-of-pocket maximum for out-of-network care, but I don't think it's a requirement.

Who's ready for the Amazon 20th anniversary sale? [July 15th]

I actually got that (at $599). The only way I knew about it was from a SlickDeals thread that had been posted earlier in the day, though. So I had the actual product page open, refreshed at the right time, and the Lightning Deal price showed up. I don't think it was ever in the Upcoming list.
