EVGA Superclocked or no?

Anybody else with any opinions before I switch my upgrade product? Am I going to regret it?

EVGA Superclocked or no?

Just built my first PC..

Well it sounds like it's working fine then. Put some software on it and see what happens - I betcha it'll boot to the OS ---- if there's an OS on it. ;-)

Old RAM question

Yeah, they don't look any different to me, either. But it's weird, isn't it? They're both the exact same price, so it's not like they're trying to trick people out of a few more bucks or something. And this isn't the only retailer where I've seen this, either. Soviet, I'm with you on PC133...

Is it possible to replace a laptop screen?

RAM Testing

Ready to Buy and Build

I like that Fortron Power Supply a lot. I agree with the chorus of others here - invest in 2 GB of RAM and a fast video card, and spend what's left of your budget on everything else. Those two parts are important when running Windows and playing games.

dwcal, I am with you, man! There's a lot of snobbery on this site - power supplies are just one example, but it seems to be (lately) the thing that people enjoy going on about the most. I've put together many PCs, and sure, I've had a power supply or two go out, but it never blew up the rest...

JediYoda - the picture of the sticker on Newegg shows that the 12V rail is rated at 25A. I don't know what the reviewer you quoted is seeing on his PSU, but it appears that the label on the one on Newegg gives a 25A rating for the 12V rail. Any idea why this discrepancy is there? As for...
