Crashplan ends home subscriptions!

It's reasonable until the 1 year special pricing is done. 4 PCs at 10/mo is pretty expensive for home use. I've known people who used Carbonite and it was pretty awful when I saw it in action. Seemed way more resource intensive than it needed to be.

I get that on multiple machines started within the last few updates. Doesn't seem to actually check to see if an update is available. Been doing it manually but this is clearly a bug they should be able to fix.

I havent watched actual TV in a while, just noticed they now have ads on top of regular programs.

Are Dell laptops easy to work on?

I'd recommend looking at the service/system manual for whatever model you're looking at. That will show you the steps to replace parts. Many are easy but some require taking the top and bottom apart.

Firefox 54 Released

No overclock, unlikely RAM or HD issue as I've seen it on multiple systems and I have no other issues with any other software. Seems to be a known/common issue at least the times that I Google'd it I found plenty of posts about it.

Been having issues since v53. Lots of stutters when typing on some sites, lots of hangs on some sites, some out-right lockups. Running two addons which I've been running since FF supported addons which are noscript and adblock plus. And for god sake how have they still not fixed the random crash...

Not necessarily. If you're removing a machine from a domain, you would need to know the local administrator password for the local administrator account. While that could be the same user you're logging in with you may be logging in with a domain account which would not be able to authenticate...
