It's funny, I often see people on this board rant about people who got into IT during the dot com boom just because it was "hot", and then you get threads like these were people recommend going into nursing for the very same reasons. ;)

Nope. I learned this the hard way when I was approximately 6 years old. My father had taught me how to start the car's electrical system (i.e. you turn the key "2 steps", so to speak). One time I decided to go out to the car and wait, and I wanted to listen to the radio, but I turned the key too...
