ECS 8800GT @ the egg -- my experience

Hee Hee, glad I was not the only that almost had a heart attack when my comp went BEEEEEEEEEEEP because I forgot to plug in the pcie power plug. My clips also came off, not sure if it's the ups man or ECS. Do install the fans, it's not loug at all. I got the Zerotherm BT90, the turbocool fans...

OCZ StealthXStream 500W any good?

For that price, go with the Corsair VX 550W from buy.com fro $68-shipped after $15 rebate. I have been looking around and researching PSU for my new comp for the last two weeks. I finally pulled the trigger on this unit today. My bad, didn't catch part of the OP about Corsair not an option...

Mixing memory

Here's the situation, I already bought 2 GB of PQI PC5300 way back. Now with all the cheap price on ram, what do you think of adding 2 more GB of the Corsair PC6400 that's on newegg? Will this cause any problem? Thank.

Alternative to Raptor

I have the 150 GB Raptor right now. The noise is driving my wife crazy so I'm gonna sell the Raptor and upgrading my present rig(new mb, 8800 gt, so on....). What's the next best thing to the Raptor given the same price range? Thank you all for your input.

Which AMD cpu?

First, what's the different between the Opteron and the X2? They're both duo core. Which one is the better choice? The price is about the same right now, well actually the 4400+ cost more since it's oem and there's a $5 shipping. For gaming, which one would you choose? Thank.

Newbie to ipod

Thinking about getting my wife the new ipod shuffle. My question is this, can I load it with any songs that I have on my computer or it has to be from itunes or directly from cd?? Thank.
