i agree. non-hd plasmas are not the best idea, bc DLP units, such as the samsung HLN series can be had for not much more, or its better to save for a native hd panel.

I worked at best buy for a few years, and when I was there, employees often created their own "open boxes" one guy would buy something, and return it the next day. it would then go open box, and theyd price it at about 50% off, then rebuy it. never once did anyone get caught, or written up...

Warm low grade laptop

since this computer is really $500, the toshiba laptop that is frequently available for $500 is a better choice. a little more tied up in rebates, but same end price, and a far superior computer.
