suggestions on netbook for 7yr old

Also consider the Latitude 2100, which was designed for use in classrooms. It has options for a touchscreen and an anti-microbial keyboard. The exterior is also made of rubber, which would prevent against scratches and dropping. It comes in black, blue, green, yellow, and red.

Apparently it's in the terms and conditions that if you get cashback from ebay, it has to be through paypal.

You can select check or bank account in payment preferences, which I have done, but then it only lets me select paypal when I go to "pay me". sigh.

You don't need to upgrade the power supply unless you plan on adding a quad core processor with a high end graphics card. Dell's power supplies are of high quality.

Slow performance with 150GB Raptor

This is on a brand new install of XP. When I had the 150GB raptor as a secondary drive with the 2x36GB raptors in RAID 0, the benchmarks were way higher. As far as real world performance, I notice it takes pretty long to load windows. Any ideas...

I tried that (I think... your post is a little hard to follow). Let me explain more clearly what happens... I press any key to boot from CD, and it tells me that another upgrade is already in progress. I select continue upgrade and it just keeps rebooting. If I select something to the effect...
