Radeon 9500 upgrade problem

Are you talking about SMARTGART? I just went to driverheaven and downloaded a 'cleaner' program and removed all traces of ati and nvidia files on my pc (the nvidia ones were alreay gone). I reinstalled directx9 then the 3.0 catalyst drivers. I went and looked at the smartgart you mentioned and...

IE locks up with detonator drivers

Thanks, but I tried those, along with 21.88, 22.80(?), 14.xx. It did it with all except the 6.50's. Anyone else havea clue?

ADSL worries......

Hmm, the line sharing is probably on the isp's end. My old isp only had a T1 for all its adsl subscribers. You should have a private pipe to the isp, but then you will share your connect out of the isp to the Internet. Odd that they bill it that way though... The usb port should in theory have...

Using both cable AND dsl at the same time

I heard that there is a way to use both a cable connection and a dsl connection on a windows 2k box at the same time. The purpose being a gamer with too much money maximizing his/her connection to a game server. One connection might have a better ping but have dropouts in connection...

MSI k7 Master

Anyone know if this amd 760 board has multiplier adjustments on it? From what I have heard, most 760 boards don't. I had never seen this board before and cannot find anything on it anywhere. Thanks.

Problem with VIA 4-in-1 drivers

Nope. Everything shows fine in Device Manager. I also have no listing for a 'pci to isa bridge'. Very odd. Not that I would expect one actually, since I have no ISA slots. Other than the mouse problem in CS, everything seems to be running fine. I have installed the via drivers more than once.

Problem with VIA 4-in-1 drivers

I just got a MSI k7t266 and installed the latest via 4-in-1 drivers (4.29) and when windows comes up, it says that it needs a driver for the pci to isa bridge. I can not find it anywhere, so I click cancel and I think it just bypasses it. This MB doesnt even have isa slots. Am I missing...

AOL 6 causing lockups

A computer in a small business got upgraded to AOL 6 and now it is having multiple hard locks where the only recourse is the reset button. I have not examined the PC yet, but have heard off and on of AOL 6 causing some sort of problems and wondered if anyone has had this and knows a solution...

Weird problem... mouse lags, system slows down for a few seconds...

My guess is you have a USB mouse? Make sure that you have DMA checked in the system properties of your HDD. Without DMA checked, HDD's take up quite a bit of CPU cycles and often cause a lagging mouse cursor. Hope this helps. EDIT: Point32 is a mouse driver program from M$.
