Trombe posted the charger is NG. Why, and if it's really that bad what's better?
Why would such seemingly good batteries even come with a NG charger....
Been thinking of getting this model. It's only online at places like Dicks and Modells. Have read that it's a pretty god low end machine, and am hoping someone reading this has one and can comment on how well it works.
There's a six cell battery version of this.
Been trying to find, without relying on advertising hype, how much longer the six cell battery lasts vs the three cell in typical use.
Assistance appreciated.
FWIW, there are different models of their rubber hoses, and I think that's why there's such discrepency.
The older ones (made in USA) are much heavier and seem much more substantial than the newer ones (made in China).
I think this was the company that was using refurbished drives... owners had to break the warranty seal to see if the drive in the case had a refurb sticker on it. I think they're clearing our old stock.

This is one of the few things I've actually returned because of poor quality.

Yes, the $10 30 minutes will convert to 100 minutes, and your total talk time will be 1100 minutes.
For what it's worth, setting up the answering system cost 4 minutes.
And there's no charge for checking CNN or the other stuff under the same icon.
What's the charge for retrieving the news articles (CNN, ABC et al), IM and getting phone messages etc?
Probably right in front of me but I don't see it.
This comes with a starter card that's good for 90 days.
Better to initiate the phone with the $100 card and wait 90 days before adding the starter card and get bonus time on it and an extra three months service?
What's the best configuration for setting this up?
