Why wont AIM stay connected?

My roomate's machine has the exact same issue you are describing. We have a linksys router, and ever since I moved in he has this strange problem where he would be dropped from aim over and over again. We've tried using a different router, calling linksys to ask them for help, we tried...

Linux and a corrupt superblock.

After noticing some errors on one my secondary drives (ext2 fs) I ran e2fsck, and went off to work. Upon returning, I noticed that when I tried to re-mount the drive, I got the following error: mount /dev/hdd1 mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdd1, or too many...

Problem mounting mobo in case (x-post from Tech Support)

Is it possible that the back of the case (where the i/o ports are located) is warped? This actually happened to me one time, and I could not mount the board to the case. So, what i had to do was take a small hammer and bang out the warped area so that it was able to accomodate the motherboard...

Mozilla + Java content (linux)

I found this out myself when I attemped to copy the plugin into the dir instead of using a sysmlink. All it would do is crash mozilla when I tried to view any kind of java content. So, with this in mind I cannot stress enough how important it is to read the available documentation.

n00b question on adding second hard drive

As long as your configuration is correct ie: correct jumper settings and the BIOS detects it, windows should do the same. From there you just have to format and partition it as neccessary using whatever utilities you prefer (be it windows or partition magic, etc) I'm sorry that I can't give...

Deathstars have a pretty bad reputation for borking themselves. Backup all data ASAP and then locate and replace the clicking drive. It's on it's way out.

Skinheads and neo-nazis are totally different. I'm friends with a bunch of skins, they're actually great people with great ideas. It's just another sub-culture that the jewish run media has felt the need to exploit, for their own purposes.
